Welcome to the Equi Leaders Mentorship Program at Reigning Grace Ranch—a transformative experience where children aged 8-17 years are paired with a horse and a dedicated mentor. This unique mentorship program combines the power of equine therapy with life coaching, trauma coaching, and resilience coaching to foster personal growth in an authentic, ranch setting.

One-on-one or small group mentorship

Phase 1

Our Private and Semi-Private Mentorship Program is structured in 6-week semester blocks, with one-hour sessions for one-on-one sessions and 90 minutes for small group sessions, held weekly to ensure consistency and build meaningful relationships. Families have the flexibility to begin with a single 6-week semester or remain enrolled throughout the program year, progressing through our full 24-week mentorship curriculum.

Each session is designed to nurture your child’s character, resilience, confidence, and faith while providing a comprehensive equine experience that touches all aspects of ranch life. Through individualized mentorship and hands-on experiences with horses, students develop life skills such as responsibility, integrity, communication, leadership, and perseverance in a supportive, Christ-centered environment.

Families may choose between private one-on-one sessions or semi-private small group sessions, allowing each student to receive personalized instruction while growing at a pace that meets their individual needs.

This program is offered throughout our program year from September through May.

Saturday Group Mentorship Program

Phase 2

The Trail to Triumph Saturday Mentorship Program at Reigning Grace Ranch is a distinctive equine experience designed for students ages 12 and older, or younger students who have successfully completed at least one 6-week Private or Semi-Private Mentorship semester. This next step provides a supportive group environment where participants build upon the confidence and foundational skills developed through individualized mentorship while fostering meaningful relationships among peers.

In this unique group mentorship program, students work together in a collaborative, hands-on learning environment, participating in activities that encourage teamwork, communication, leadership, and mutual support. This setting helps participants grow beyond individualized instruction by developing deeper friendships, strengthening accountability, and learning to encourage and lead others through shared experiences.

As they continue their Trail to Triumph journey, students deepen their self-confidence, stewardship, responsibility, accountability, leadership, and faith while gaining practical horsemanship and ranch skills that prepare them for greater opportunities to serve both on the ranch and in their communities.

The Trail to Triumph Saturday Mentorship Program is offered in three 6-week cohorts throughout the program year:

  • Fall Cohort: September–October
  • Winter Cohort: January–February
  • Spring Cohort: April–May
