What it means to volunteer

Reigning Grace Ranch is a working ranch. That means you’re stepping into meaningful, hands-on work that supports our herd, our kids, and the land we steward. Volunteers help cultivate the ranch grounds, repair and maintain our facilities, feed animals, assist with paddock work, and support our kids programming. Every task, big or small, plays a part in moving our mission forward.

The heart of our community

Our volunteers come from all stages of life, yet the ranch has a way of weaving everyone together. People form friendships, discover new skills, build confidence, and find purpose through serving. Showing up matters here, your time directly impacts the animals, the kids, and the heartbeat of the ranch.

Where To Begin

Every volunteer journey starts with a tour. This gives you a chance to meet our team, learn our mission, and explore the different ways you can serve. After the tour, you’ll be guided through orientation, where we cover safety, expectations, and next steps.

Areas to Serve

  • Kids Programming:
    Support our mentorship program, assist kids as they learn horsemanship, and help create safe, encouraging experiences.

  • Supplement Team:
    Prepare and deliver feed and specialized supplements for our horses, a detail-focused team dedicated to the herd’s health.

  • Feeding & Paddock Team:
    Help feed the herd, pull horses, clean paddocks, and keep daily ranch operations running smoothly.

  • Critter Corner:
    Care for goats, chickens, pigs, lambs, and other small animals, great for volunteers who love hands-on work with critters.

  • Landscape Team:
    Cultivate the land, maintain the grounds, and help keep the ranch beautiful and functional.

  • Garden Team:
    Support our garden through planting, watering, maintaining beds, and helping with sustainability projects.

  • Facilities Team:
    Assist with building projects, repairs, and maintenance to keep the ranch safe and operating smoothly.
